Our name

How Otsudio came to be

When starting the studio, the name first considered was OAT Studio. Spoken as “OAT STU”, its sound led us to OTSU (おつ／乙) — a Japanese expression associated with something distinctive, refined and subtly considered.

From there came OTSUDIO — a fusion of OTSU + STUDIO.
